Nothing goes quite as well with a pirate-themed party as Florida Gulf Coast Pink Shrimp Ceviche!
On August 5th, 2019, Bar Harbor Seafood supported our local chapter of the American Culinary Federation as they hosted the Welcome Reception of the ACF National Convention here in Orlando, Florida.
The American Culinary Federation promotes the professional image of the American chef worldwide, through education of culinarians at all levels — from enthusiasts, to apprentices, to the accomplished Certified Master Chefs of the culinary arts. The American Culinary Federation, Inc., established in 1929, is the premier professional organization for culinarians in North America with more than 14,000 members. The Central Florida Chapter is one of 170 ACF chapters located nationwide.
The reception was filled with pirate chefs from all over the U.S. and over two dozen sampling stations. The ACF Central Florida Chapter reception team, headed up by Chef Joe Alfano, created Florida Gulf Coast Pink Shrimp Ceviche hors d’oeuvres.
